Travelling From Sydney Via Wollombi - Very Scenic

Join the F3 freeway at Wahroonga but take the exit for Peats Ridge (route 33 first exit after Mt White). Follow the signs for Wollombi. Travel along the old Pacific Highway for approx 15 kilometres and then turn left to Wollombi and Singleton. The road follows the Old Convict Trail from Bucketty and winds through the valley, past Murrays Run and Laguna before arriving at Wollombi. Continue straight ahead at the Wollombi Tavern - there is a short section of dirt road (half a kilometer only) just outside Wollombi but improves shortly afterwards. Continue along the Wollombi road for a further 30 Kms until you reach Broke.

Locating the houses from the Broke Village Store

Maranda Country House - if your standing at the store looking across to the fire station - turn right and head north along Wollombi Street towards Singleton. Travel about 1 kilometer until you see Pickled and Pitted & Monkey Place on the left hand side. We are opposite these on the right hand side of the road.

Bonn Abbey - if your standing at the store looking across to the fire station - Turn left and immediately left again travelling East towards Pokolbin. Travel about 500 meters and you will see an old service station on the corner of Nelson Street on your left. Turn into Nelson Street and Bonn Abbey is towards the end of the street on the left hand side of the road surrounded by pepper trees and next to a small gravel track called Adair Street.
