River Flats Estate is a boutique family owned business with a grove of 3500 trees located at Broke in the Hunter Valley. Taste the delicious treats for the gourmet and innovative cook. River Flats Estate has a retail outlet selling the full range of Oils and Gourmet produce. Pickled and Pitted have a superb range of olives, oils, cheeses, preserves and other specialty items all prepared locally and with seasonal produce. Pickled and Pitted is just across the road from Maranda in the main street in Broke. You can also see some wonderful locally made olive oil soaps. If you are staying midweek then ring Marion and she will often open up for you to browse.

Brokes Promise - As well as having great wines Broke's Promise grows Italian varieties of olives, Paragon and Corregiola for oil, and the fleshier Greek Kalamata and Spanish Manzanillo fruit for table olives. As a bonus, check out their wonderful Fine Arts Gallery features glassware by well known Blue Mountains artist Keith Rowe and ceramics by Lyn Hart, also from the Blue Mountains. They have beautiful timber carvings and paintings by local artist Rebecca Rath and of course their resident sandstone sculptor Samuel Re.

Pukara Estate’s Extra Virgin Olive Oils are amongst Australia’s best, winning over 40 awards in shows nationally, including the prestigious Australian Olive Association National Show. The Estate produces distinctive, sophisticated and flavoursome Extra Virgin Olive Oils of the highest quality.
Visitors to Pukara Estate can relax and taste and purchase a full range of oils and olives along with many other gourmet products on display, as well as see the olive press and learn about olive oil production, first-hand. Toby’s Estate Fine Coffee and Tea and light refreshments are also served in the Tasting Room.
Located at 1440 Denman Road, Muswellbrook, (between Denman and Muswellbrook) the Tasting Room is open every day between 9.30AM and 4.30PM, including Public Holidays.
Chocolate
Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country. The Hunter Valley Chocolate Company has wonderful staff who will make your visit something to remember, and the products which range from hand made Belgian chocolate to gourmet gifts will make every individual feel like a child again.
They have three locations. The factory showroom on Lovedale Road, the stone house next to Peterson's Champagne House and at the Hunter Valley Gardens.

At the The Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where food lovers can be excited by a fabulous selection of local and imported cheese, and a select range of delicacies from providores such as Simon Johnson and Maggie Beer. The Shop is a compact treasure house of all things good.

Set right in the middle of the Hunter Valley's fabulous Pokolbin vineyard district, Binnorie Dairy produces a range of cheeses with distinctive characters unavailable outside the region.
One of the ways this is achieved is by using only locally sourced milk. "In the same way that wine reflects its regionally, due to soil variation and climatic conditions, so it is with dairy produce." Combining technical expertise with a passion for food, Simon Gough founded Binnorie in order to have the freedom to trial and produce products rarely seen on the Australian market.
Binnorie Dairy specialises in soft cheeses based on carefully chosen recipes from around the globe. Consequently, these cheeses have won top awards around the world.

Breweries
Blue Tongue Brewery is located at the Hunter Resort and is one of the Wine Country's first boutique breweries. Quality wine and boutique beer are most compatible and what better way to finish a hard day of tasting in the Hunter Valley Wine Country than with a cleansing beer..A glass wall is the only separation between you at the bar and the brewery. Many styles of beer are available including the unique Alcoholic Ginger Beer, and the sensational premium Lager. Come in and taste the brews on a special tasting paddle.

Potters Hotel & Brewery is home to the Hunter Valley’s very first microbrewery. A must see and experience where visitors and beer lovers can enjoy informative tours of the Hunter’s first microbrewery and taste the award-winning signature brews.
Tours currently operate 7 days a week at 12noon, 2pm and 4pm.
Tours run for approximately 40 minutes plus question time with our Brewer and costs $10 p/p which also includes 3 beer tastings.
All our beers are brewed from 100% natural ingredients. Our hops have been selected from the finest Australian bittering hops as well as a selection of aromatic hops from Germany and the Czech Republic. We have also begun growing our very own hops on site at Potters Hotel & Brewery.
Our Brewer enjoys brewing them, so we hope that you will enjoy drinking them
