Dancing Waters will commence at various intervals throughout the day. Ask our staff on entry to the Gardens for the times. Dancing Waters is located in the Lakes Walk area of the gardens and is surrounded by nearly 30,000 daffodil bulbs. An explosion of colour, water and light you simply must see!

Maitland Gaol - A key anchor attraction of the Hunter, Maitland Gaol has a vibrant history spanning more than 150 years after housing some of Australia's most hardened and notorious criminals, Maitland Gaol closed in 1998. The Cell doors have now been swung open, with visitors invited to serve a small amount of time learning about the facility, past prisoners and daring escapes.

Open 7 days, Maitland Gaol offers visitors the opportunity to indulge in self-guided tours, however the best way to interpret this unique attraction is to take a themed-guided tour or torchlight tour by night. Only the brave can battle a sleepover night.

Singleton - is only a 15 minute drive from Broke. Singleton has a delightful mix of history and country hospitality. Morpeth - Charming and historic town on the banks of the Hunter River
Morpeth is an historic inland river port with a bucolic feel on the banks of the Hunter River 168 km north of Sydney, 37 km north-west of Newcastle and just 5 km north-east of Maitland.
