Wine Tours and Transfers
There are quite a few companies that can do Wine tours, event and restaurant transfers from the properties. We suggest that you try the fantastic wineries in the Broke area. Many of these are only minutes from your accommodation.
Local Restaurant Transfers
We have two of the Hunters top restaurants on our doorstep, Margan and Nightingale restaurants. Dont forget to reserve your table for breakfast, lunch or dinner as they are popular with visitors and locals.
Hearltand Bus tours is available for transfers to Hunter events and for group transfers. Hunter-Heartland Bus hire is run by a friendly local. Kevin also does wine tours for larger groups. 65791115
Rover Coaches also offer an event transfer from Broke for most concerts and major events in the Hunter
Wine Tours and Transfers
There are many companies who will organise Wine Tours and some that will do Event Transfers but we recommend two
Hunter Valley Day Tours and Grape-x-pectations . Both will pick you up for Bonn Abbey or Maranda Country House in a vehicle to suit your group size and pour you off at the end of the day feeling relaxed and that knowing you have had a wonderful day. You can take a general set tour or a private tour.
The private tour will be your group only and this way you can plan your own itinerary making sure you include the cellar doors that you want to try. Make sure that you let them know your preference for lunch. There are many different places to enjoy a snack or quick cafe lunch but why not treat yourselves and stop at one of the great restaurants like Cafe Enzo or Bistro Molines (cant go wrong with the food or the ambience). Some groups prefer to spend morning in the Broke area visiting Nightingales, Krinklewood, Mount Broke or Catherine Vale and then the afternoon around the Pokolbin, Lovedale or Mount View wineries. Your guide will take you on an excursion that you will long remember and introduce you to the best boutique wineries in the Hunter Valley. Wineries that specialise in hand made wines that are a delight. The can also include cheese and chocolate tasting and maybe a trip to the Blue Tongue Brewery to try their paddle of boutique beers.
They also arrange transfers from Sydney and Newcastle.
