Nestled within a private estate and one of only a few properties built, it is surrounded by vineyards, acres of countryside and an abundance of kangaroos and wildlife. Blue Cliff Retreat is a modern country home sat in the heart of Australia’s Hunter Valley Wine Country in Pokolbin.
Built in 2012, this residence is situated only minutes from some of the region’s best wineries and restaurants. It provides three bedrooms, making it an ideal country holiday home for couples, families and small groups who want to be completely surrounded by peaceful countryside and stunning mountain vistas.
Designed to blend in with the natural bush surroundings, this idyllic home features an open plan living space and pavilion style wings which create separate sleeping and living zones. There is also an abundance of windows so you can enjoy the beautiful views of the ever changing escarpment from almost every room in the house. The interior has been styled with Grey Gum timber, sandstone floors, high ceilings and a stunning 100 year old recycled entry door that adds to the natural country feel of the property.
The sun-filled lounge features a beautiful sandstone open fireplace and a gorgeous window seat perfect for some lazy reading or to bask in the warm sun. The well-equipped gourmet kitchen would delight any chef and the stunning dining area has a fantastic outlook of the property’s bush surroundings. Leading out from the open plan living area is a wrap-around deck with an outdoor undercover lounge and a gas barbeque overlooking a peaceful water catchment dam. Off the entrance hallway is the games room with pool table, darts, Smart TV and WiFi. To top it off the estate facilities share a refreshing swimming pool (for guest use all year round) and tennis court, which is a casual few minute stroll from the house.
The property’s three bedrooms are bright and airy and offer a generous amount of space. The master bedroom has a King Split Bed and a modern ensuite bathroom complete with double vanities. The second bedroom features a King split bed and the third has a queen size bed plus 2 single bunk beds - an ideal bedroom for a small family with children. Both additional bedrooms share a main bathroom that comes complete with both a bath tub and a shower.
The entrance hallway flows into a games room with pool table, darts, Smart TV and WiFi.

A security deposit/bond of $1000 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.
