Degen Estate Birubi Cottage is set on a centrally located 54 acre family vineyard, with your first cellar door tasting only a few steps from your accommodation at the charming Degen Cellar Door.

Birubi Cottage is one of two elegantly styled cottages set high above the surrounding vineyards with 360 degree views from Brokenback Range to Bimbadgen Estate. An established fruit orchard, select stands of native timber and manicured hedges adorning the grounds, Degen Estate is a beautiful environment for a weekend escape or couples retreat.  

Birubi has two bedroom both with luxury bedding, a modern bathroom, kitchen and open living space spilling out to an open verandah with BBQ and private views of the vineyards.

It is moments to surrounding vineyards, concert venues like Bimbadgen Estate and Hope Estate, the Vintage Golf Resort and within ten minutes of the Hunter Expressway.

ACCOMMODATION
Maximum 4 guests or 4 guests in individual beds
Bedroom One - 1 King Bed or 2 King Singles
Bedroom Two - 1 King Bed or 2 King Singles
Please note that the beds will be made as king beds unless otherwise requested 

TARIFF 
Occupancy is based on 2 or more guests per bedroom - single occupancy will attract a $60 linen fee

Weekend - minimum 2 nights, 2 guests from $330 per night (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - minimum 2 nights, 2 guests from $280 per night (Mon-Thurs)
Extra guests are charged at $105 per person per night
Infants under 2 years free of charge

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $500.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

LONGER STAYS
Please contact us for a quote. Discounts are available on midweek stays and longer stays of 4 nights and over.

NOTES:
Weekend Public Holiday bookings must be a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate. 
Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full weekend rate. 
Concert weekends must be a minimum of 4 guests, and a concert surcharge may apply.
