Fletcher House features a large light-filled open-plan dining and living areas with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas stove and Expressi coffee machine with views out to the pool. The kitchen and dining areas open out to a large covered outdoor entertaining area with bbq and pizza oven so you can enjoy the best of the outdoors both day and night with a glass of Hunter vino in hand. This is a property to be enjoyed all year round with reverse-cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans to living and sleeping areas.
Only 8 minutes to the Hunter Valley Gardens, 4 mins to Hunter Valley Zoo, and 6 minutes walk to Simply Divine Nursery where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, or Potters Hotel Brewery for lunch or dinner and taste their craft beers. Ernest Hill Wines, Hungerford Hill Wines, Muse Restaurant, Peterson’s Champagne House are all under a 5 minute drive from the home.
The games room boasts a pool table, table tennis and a 50” TV, so sink back and relax in the comfy sofas and bean bags and catch your favourite movie.
For the warmer months, lounge beside the sparkling in-ground pool and take in the views of the manicured lawns, dam, fruit orchard and olive trees. This large yard is pet friendly which means your best four-legged friend doesn’t have to miss out on all that Fletcher House has to offer!
For those that are staying a little longer, the property is equipped with a full guest laundry.

Highly Recommended!
This property has everything you can think of plus more. From a whole box of twinings tea to a coffee machine. From a pool table to a ping pong table, everyone had something to do. The rooms are beautiful and are away from the living area which is nice for those who want to get to bed earlier. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else!

Great house – very clean and the beds are extra comfy. Fantastic location close to wineries. Perfect for dogs with lots of space for them to run!

Great location and facilities
We had a large group of 10 adults, 2 adults and 3 dogs. The property had plenty of space to accommodate us all and a big bit of land around the property for the dogs to run around. Lots of seating in the living area and the games room is great to keep everyone entertained. The property is in a great location, only a short drive to the main town, good wineries and golf courses.

We all loved our home away from home.The house had everything we needed. Beds were excellent, ample hot water for all of us.Adequate heating.Games room was ideal. Would definitely come back & recommend to others.
Christmas Getaway
This property was great for us. Plenty of room for the kids and family to be together or break off and have time on our own. It’s a country house with room to move. Management were responsive to a few issues we had both on arrival and during but were quick to attend to our needs and requests. Great for family to get away during the warmer months and close to the wineries if you wish.
Awesome Place With Lots To Offer
We had a great stay at Fletcher House! The pool was perfect for summer, we loved making homemade pizzas in the oven and had so much playing table tennis and pool in the games room. Rooms were comfy with beautiful decor and lots of space for everyone. Management were responsive and very accommodating of our requests. Highly recommend Fletcher House!

An Abbsolutely Beautiful House
We stayed at Fletcher Jouse for the Australia long weekend, very clean, comfy beds, stylish interior with lots of entertainment,the pool and gaming room are great. We were two families and we all enjoyed our time so much that no one wanted to leave the house the bed rooms are away from the main part of the house so sleepy heads can enjoy a snooze or some time out. Plenty of room for your four legged babies if you choose to include them. All in all a great property. Thanks Hunter Valley Stays for your hospitality.

Highly Recommended!
The Fletcher House was perfect for our family weekend away. The house was very comfortable since we stayed during winter. The property was located in quite area, great ground, plenty of room for 11 of us. The game room was awesome, we had great time. The house was clean and the bedding was 5 stars and kitchen was well equipped. We did not need anything, except to buy groceries. The Hunter Valley Stay was excellent in communication with us and we definitely will recommend and come back to stay at the Fletcher house.

Spacious, well-kitted house, would recommend for large groups! We made the most of the pizza oven and generous lawn space. It was the perfect house to reconnect as a group, enjoy home-cooked breakfast spread and it was close to all the wineries too. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We really appreciated the late check-out as well, it allowed us to have another hearty breakfast together as a group. We’d love to come back!

Perfect stay for a Hunter Valley wedding
Perfect stay for a Hunter Valley wedding. We were 5 couples who were going to a wedding in Pokolbin. The house accommodated us easily – loads of parking, comfy beds, loads of space in the lounge and games room, three seperate toilets and the kitchen was fully stocked. We ordered Cessnock taxis and had no trouble getting in or out. We also loved walking to the Foghorn Brewery for dinner the next night. The only issue we encountered was no wi-fi – I overlooked this and got stuck with a few work emails that I needed to send out.

Bridal party weekend
We recently stayed for a bridal party weekend that had been postponed three times due to COVID. Each time we had to reschedule, the Hunter Valley Stays team was incredibly helpful, accommodating and friendly. They even ended up being able to accommodate our late checkout request so we could enjoy more time together. The place was great but the Hunter Valley Stays team really made our stay! Thank you, thank you!
Christmas break
We had a great overall stay at Fletcher House over the Christmas period. Checking in was simple and we had no issues. We were very impressed with the size of the property as it had a wonderful and impressive driveway to show off the huge garden and grounds. The house itself was huge, clean and was more than adequate to meet our needs for our party of 2 families. We were delighted as we asked about providing a Christmas Tree as we had Santa visiting for the kiddies and the owners were only too happy to oblige. All bedrooms were tastefully decorated and beds were setup to our request. The kitchen, looked small from photos but in reality was excellent for our needs and provided all the utilities we would need. The living areas were brilliant and with the addition of AC and fans kept all of us cool through the hot and humid conditions. The play area and games room was huge and again AC was gratefully provided. The big bonus for us was the outdoor pool which again was bigger than it looked from the photos. This was a godsend and kids and adults all benefited to cool off during the hot periods. Overall Fletcher House has been a great stay for our group and we would highly recommend this for a getaway to the Hunter Valley. The owners were very responsive to us and all I can say is that we were sorry to leave as it became a home away from home for our stay.
