In the heart of the Hunter Wine region and adjacent to Harkham Cellar door, Harkham House is a stunning newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house situated on Harkham vineyard Estate with surrounding vineyards and views up to the ranges.

A stone built fire is the hub of a fabulous entertainment area of kitchen, lounge and dining, leading out to a sandstone balcony where you can watch the sun set over the vines. Walk next door for your private wine tasting at the cellar door, or treat yourself to lunch or dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. Alternatively, prepare your own meals in the state of the art kitchen.

Just relax and enjoy this fabulous part of the world.

TARIFF

Weekend -2 night minimum, up to 6 guests from $750 per night (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - 2 night minimum, up to 6 guests from $565 per night (Mon-Thu)
Extra guests are charged at $125 per person per night
Infants under 2 years free of charge

Please contact us for a quote. Discounts are available on longer stays of 4 nights and over.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

NOTES

One night stays are available midweek and will attract a surcharge. Weekend one night stays may be available but will attract a surcharge.
Weekend Public Holiday bookings must a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate.
Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full weekend rate.
Concerts weekends in the Hunter Valley do have a set minimum to stay and may attract a surcharge

Beautiful property in a fantastic location!

The property was ideal for a family and the beds were great as was the quiet location. The property was also central to many wineries and had a lovely country feel.

Beautiful House

Beautiful house with wonderful outside area and an added bonus of a cellar door on premise that serves some fabulous natural wines. We had a great afternoon/evening tasting Harkham wines and a great laugh with Drew. Highly recommend this house to a group of 4-8 people looking to have a laugh and hit up the vineyards.

Perfect Getaway

The location was amazing. It was only a short drive to the main areas including Cessnock, which was helpful. The peaceful country retreat was just what we all needed to relax and refuel. The property itself was beautiful, it had everything we needed and it was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the additional sofa bed in the larger bedroom. We would highly recommend this property to a small or large group. The host was very friendly and the cellar door on site is a bonus.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Harkham! Although the listing said no private entrance I think there is, we didn't see anyone at the property at all. The winery is a few meters away but it's got its own entrance and we didn't notice it at all, bonus points for the winery 2min walk away! management was very responsive to all our questions and the property was as lovely as described and pictured! very close to lots of wineries, good sized rooms and beds, toilets and showers were clean and modern, the AC kept us warm, it's a perfect getaway! thanks again!

Beautiful getaway location

It was a beautiful large property. Perfect for a girls getaway with the warm fire over looking the dining table. Lots of room for the guests and beautiful scenery from each window! This photo was just after sunrise. Such a serene view!

Gorgeous property, fantastic getaway!

As three couples looking for a relaxing yet fun getaway at the Hunter Valley, we are so happy that we chose to stay at Harkham house. The house itself was beautiful, on large land. The house had a warm, modern yet classic cottage feel about it. It was definitely spacious enough for 3 couples to comfortable enjoy ourselves and was closely located to all the wineries we had hoped to go to! Would definitely recommend staying at this clean, spacious and stunning property.
