Kinsale Cottage is a large 3 bedroom country home set on 110 peaceful acres with magnificent views of the Brokenback ranges and right in the heart of Pokolbin. Complete with all the modern luxuries including complimentary Wi-Fi, it is the perfect place to get away from it all or take in some of the many activities that the area has to offer. Kinsale Cottage has everything. There is a grand 10-seat dining table and a kitchen full of Smeg appliances for your holiday master chef creations, and a Vittoria Espressotoria coffee machine. Kinsale has two large living areas, both equipped with flat-screen TVs and DVDs so the kids can have their own retreat while the grown-ups converse over local wine and cheese before the gas-log fire.
Although in federation style, the living area of the cottage is open and flows from the dining room to the sitting room. These areas have also been designed so that they can be closed off to provide privacy.
The cottage has one King bedroom with ensuite and two Queen bedrooms with a spacious main bathroom. There is also a double fold out sofa bed in the private sitting room allowing very comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. The living areas provide DVD/Foxtel app/Netflix/Flat screen TVs and surround sound for your enjoyment. There is also two large verandahs to take in the magnificent views. For those staying for an extended period there is a fully equipped laundry.

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay at the full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

Fabulous quiet house with everything you need
We love this house and hope to come back again soon. We can see the owners have maintained the property since we were last there with new carpet throughout which was nice. Also appreciated the 12pm checkout so no rushing on Sunday. Highly reccommend the house, Hunter Valley Stays and also Hunters Quarter for lunch!

Beautiful Cottage
We loved the cottage, very spacious with beautiful and comfortable furnishings. The location was great, close to all our favourite wineries. Fantastic views, visited every day by kangaroos and a variety of birds. Will definitely stay here again.
Comfort and style at its best
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We felt like we were in rural paradise. Beautiful settings and cows amongst the sunset. What more could you want for a bit of relaxation and wine and conversation? Just what the Dr ordered.

We had a fantastic holiday. Loved the cottage, it is so comfortable, and has great views. Close to all our favourite wineries and restaurants. We enjoyed the bottles of bubbly left for us. Will definitely be back again.

Perfect location in Pokolbin. Close to everything in the Hunter Valley. The house itself was even nicer than pictured. The bathrooms were very modern and the kitchen as well. Really big house, easily accommodating 6 adults. You are on a private block of land so it was very quiet and secluded. Overall a fantastic stay.

Spacious and tranquil property in the heart of wine country
Spacious and well-equipped house in a very tranquil setting overlooking beautiful farmland, and yet very close to wineries and attractions. Booking with Hunter Valley Stays was easy and communication was clear, from initial emails to information supplied at the property. The property is very close to wineries and Hunter Valley Gardens, with a bike / walking path nearby that connects to many nearby attractions.

Beautiful Views and lovely house to spend a family Christmas away.The kids enjoyed the space to run around and cow spotting in the morning and evening. The house was comfortable and suits extended family with space for all to relax. A beautiful place to stay abs celebrate Christmas with our family.

Perfect wine country getaway
We spent the Easter long weekend with our friends in this property. It was wonderful. Spacious and really comfortable. Equipped to cook meals with dining indoors and outdoors for long leisurely dining. A huge yard that had an abundance of bird life. We spent each late afternoon watching the cows make their way from one side of the far paddock to the other and kangaroos hopping along whilst watching the sunset. Highly recommend this property!
Comfortable home for a weekend with friends
We had a lovely long weekend with our friends. The house was so comfortable and warm. We were right in the middle of the vineyards so the location could not have been better. Highly recommended.

Kinsale Cottage is the most stunning property and location for a Hunter Valley getaway. The cottage itself is extremely well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. The location is brilliant, so central and surrounded by Cellar Doors and lovely restaurants all within 2 – 10 minutes. I will definitely be recommending Kinsale Cottage to anyone going to the Hunter Valley.

Perfection on every level
Large family home that we would use next time again even if we had more family stay. Could actually sleep as is 6 adults 4 kids (2 sofa beds) and 1 infant (portacot there) Generous with supplies, games and cleanliness. Stunning views.
