Conveniently located 5.1 kilometres from Cessnock Airport, 5.5 kilometres to Crowne Plaza Golf Course and just 15.8 kilometres from the Hunter Valley Gardens, guests will be spoilt for choice with plenty of nearby attractions and iconic cellar doors.
With loads of room for all your friends and family to relax, Puddleduck House has been thoughtfully decorated to provide guests with a sense of calm and enjoyment both inside and out. The property features a stunning pool, fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, dining room with combustion wood fireplace, two separate living and dining areas to gather and relax, free to air TV and Wi-Fi, and a super outdoor covered patio area with gas BBQ perfect for casual dining throughout the summer season. Puddleduck House also has a fun games room with pool table, table tennis, Pac Man table and an extra TV to keep everyone entertained. The house has ducted, reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout and guests also have the choice of fans within the bedrooms. Internal laundry facilities are also provided.
The house sits just a short walk from popular The Mighty Hunter Valley, a great craft brewery and restaurant with delicious beer, wines, food, and outdoor beer garden and kids play area – a great option to relax on the weekend. The location of Puddleduck House makes it ideal for Hunter Valley wedding guest accommodation for those celebrating at St Patrick Church, Nulkaba, Petersons Sparkling House, Lovedale Chapel, Moravia Park, Dark Horse or Wandin Valley in Lovedale. Concert pick up is also just a stroll down the road.

Puddleduck House is pet friendly for small dogs only, the property owners accept only small dogs under 10 kilograms on application and house rules apply. The acreage is not fully fenced and has farm fencing only. We permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.

Extra adults are charged at $95 per person per night
Children aged 2-12 are charged at $60 per child per night
A $30.00 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.
Infants under 2 years are free.
Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $1000.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

NOTES
A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 4 night stay full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

We Had an Absolute Blast and Would Definitely Stay Again!
The property was spacious and has everything that we needed for our stay and more. The country style kitchen and massive dinning table were definitely well suited to our large group gatherings! The swimming pool and the games room was also a hit with the grown ups and kids. Overall amazing property and would not hesitate to stay again.
An Excellent Base For A Family or Large Group Going To The Hunter Valley.
We found that all of the Hunter’s attractions were easily in reach. The property itself offers excellent accommodation with generous spaces for individuals to have quiet times, but large groups could easily interact together. Pool is well placed for adult supervision of children and the overall feel of the property gives a rural feeling.

We had a wonderful stay at Puddleduck House. The communication between Hunter Valley Stays and myself was very good and informed me every step of the way! The house itself was very comfortable for the 7 guests & a pup.

Absolutely amazing property!
Absolutely amazing property! I spent the weekend here with my family for my father’s 70th Birthday catch up. The host’s were amazing in accommodating us with our requirements, and the house was perfect for keeping the kids entertained with books, boardgames, plenty of TV’s and the games room.

Myself and some friends stayed for the weekend. Great location, close to wineries and easy pick up location for tours. Shame we had rain but if you get a nice weekend, the pool area outside is perfect. Clean and spacious home and great communication from Hunter Valley Stays. Would definitely recommend.

The property is fabulous
We stayed for 3 nights a family of 10, aged 2 to 68yrs. The property is fabulous. It is spacious and well laid out with lots of room and privacy for everyone. Open plan with a large dining table adjacent to the kitchen which is large enough for many kitchen hands. The house has up to date comfortable furniture, effective ducted air conditioning and a lovely pool and games room. In addition Hunter Valley Stays are an efficient, professional service. I have booked with them on many occasions. They have a number of properties at a cheaper rate than other sites. The communication is faultless replying to email or texts immediately starting from the time of booking. I would highly recommend HVS and would not use any other site for the Hunter.
