Stable and Vines has been custom-designed for up to 14 guests and bursting with everything that you and your guests would need for a very memorable stay. Enjoy open landscape experiences that allow you to still be within walking distance to Saddlers Creek and Kelman Cellar Doors, and a short drive to Irongate Estate, Ushers, Gundog cellar doors and Ben Ean’s ‘Baume’ restaurant. Conveniently located close to Cessnock, cafes, shopping and supermarkets but within a 10 minute drive of the Hunter Valley Gardens, major concert and wedding venues, award-winning golf courses and restaurants such as Roche, Bimbadgen and Hope Estate, Cyprus Lakes, The Vintage and Bistro Molines.

Stable and Vine is designed around togetherness. Styled with beautiful décor, the open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen areas boast a beautiful sandstone gas fireplace, stylish and comfortable couches to relax in and a dining table with seating for up to 14 guests.
The designer country kitchen, perfect for the gourmet, and featuring a beautiful cooking range with multiple ovens, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and ample storage in the butler’s pantry. For those that wish to stay a little longer, a full laundry room is available to guests.
Outdoor dining is equally a joy with the spacious undercover BBQ area with overhead fan, ample seating and views to the sun-drenched swimming pool and acreage.
Everything at Stable and Vines has been planned for your rest and entertainment featuring all the mod cons including WiFi and Smart TV’s. Guests can enjoy an evening of games, or if competition is your thing, the fully equipped games room with foosball and ping pong table is sure to delight. For those who wish to retreat and enjoy some peace, the reading room is a cosy spot to take in some pages of your favourite book or magazine with a glass of wine.

The property was amazing! very clean, spacious for 14 people. nice views from the house and walking distance to a winery. We had a great weekend away. The management team was very responsive as well. Would highly recommend this place.
Sensational home for groups, families or girls getaway
Sensational home for groups, families or girls getaway. This house has everything you would need. Modern & peaceful and close enough to all the Hunter Valley wineries. We will definitely be staying here again. Loved dealing with Hunter Valley Stays. A direct phone call from John answering a question was even more special.

Highly recommended!
A wonderful property in a perfect location. Close enough to the shops & wineries but still secluded enough to really enjoy the peace & quiet. The house has everything you could need. Very spacious, very well furnished & an absolute please to wake to hear distant sounds of horses & native birds. If you wake early you’ll catch the hot air balloons in the sky. Probably in the warmer months a couple of additions could be nice. Such as a cafe umbrella around the pool and a fly screen / netting for the table to protect platters/food from flies. Booking service was faultless! Super accomodating with an early check in. Amazing attention to detail throughout the whole process. Highly recommended! Thanks for everything

Excellent Stay
I booked this beautiful house for our family to stay in for our daughter’s wedding the house accommodated all 14 guests. The house was well appointed, and all guests want to travel back for a family gathering soon. The house is close to vineyards restaurant’s & wedding venues and Cessnock town center.

Will be upgrading my bed
What an amazing stay. The home was situated on a high ground with loads of green pastures for the kids to run around. Plenty of amenities and very well presented in every room. The service also top notch. Replying to every text message I sent in a prompt timely manner with an eager willingness to help. Everyone that stayed loved it. Could not thank them enough and will definitely be coming back. Massive thankyou to the owners and Hunter Valley Stays for accomodating the move of booking, request for the one additional guest and allowing a late check. This weekend took some time to put together for my Wife’s 40th and you did not disappoint. So much so that I even took a photo of the bed manufacturer and model as I had an amazing two nights sleep. Will be upgrading my bed.
One of the best group properties we have stayed in
We absolutely loved our stay at Stables and Vines. The property was 100% accurately depicted, the kitchen extremely well equipped, the beds were fabulously comfortable. There was plenty of toilet paper – which doesn’t often happen in houses like this – an important inclusion. All in all it was one of the best group properties we have stayed in. Communication was great and as you said you would, you replenished our firewood for the fire pit with just one call. Well done. Thanks again for helping this to be a great 60th Birthday Celebration.

The property was absolutely beautiful. In the perfect location. The house it self was immaculate and everything I hoped for. Would highly reccommend. And would definitely book again.
Particularly beautiful and convenient spot
Stable and Vines was perfect for our family gathering of 8 adults and 6 children. It offered plenty of sizeable bedrooms and bathrooms, a large well designed and stocked kitchen and pantry, spacious indoor and outdoor dining, lounge, games room and study areas, and large secure yard and pool. All of that on 50 plus acres neighbouring stables and vineyards in a particularly beautiful and convenient spot in the Valley. The home was also nicely presented and spotlessly clean. Finally, the folks at HV Stays were attentive and professional. A pleasure to deal with.

Set in a picturesque location
Staying at Stables and Vines with 12 guests to celebrate a 50th birthday was a wonderful experience. The property, set in a picturesque location, offered outstanding accommodation, each room with an ensuite, very comfy beds, great fireplace and a well equipped kitchen. The service offered by Hunter Valley Stays was exceptional, and all requests were dealt with in a friendly and quick manner. The beautiful outdoor spaces, lap pool, proximity to wineries, and overall tranquillity made it a memorable retreat. Highly recommended for a luxurious and welcoming getaway. We can’t wait to return!
Amenities were extraordinary
Nestled in the serene, undulating hills of Pokolbin, wine country Hunter Valley NSW, the property “Stable and Vines” was absolutely amazing and very very roomy for our growing clan consisting of myself and hubby, 3 children, 2 partners and our 3 grandchildren. The fresh air and well maintained grounds were enjoyed with playing football, soccer and just walking around. We had very tired children come the end of each day. The amenities were extraordinary. The property had many roomy rooms, all with ensuites, including 2 main bathrooms. We, especially the kids, loved the games rooms & I loved the very cool bath. Witnessing the rise of the “Hunters Full Moon”on the picturesque red and blue hued horizon, was definitely an added joyful benefit, and very picturesque; it was absolutely amazing and unforgettable… and will be treasured. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and will be back when we have further significant events where we can gather and enjoy the beautiful property in a beautiful part of Mother Earth. Marrungbu! Excellent accommodation
Stable and Vine provided excellent accommodation for our Christmas family. With 9 Adults and 3 young kids the room configuration was great and the main outside entertainment area was far enough away from the kids so they were not disturbed. The pool was also great for the kids to learn how to swim.
So memorable
Absolutely stunning house. So well equipped for our team bonding get away. The rooms, kitchen, pool and location made it so memorable. We will be back next year for sure! Everything was amazing. We will be back, everyone loved it.

We booked the Airbnb for a corporate retreat – it hosted the perfect balance between fun and relaxation. Would recommend to anyone!
Exceeded expectations
Breathtaking group get away. House had everything that was needed including having all the additional entertaining areas catered for many laughs and entertainment. Communication between Hunter Valley stays was immediate, helpful and clear. Our group can’t stop talking about our stay and would love to come back again soon.
