The Grey House is a 5 bedroom spacious home with 2 ensuites, 1.5 bathrooms plus a home theatre. Step down to the huge open-plan living area, giving a light and airy feel that is stylish and luxurious. The open plan area opens up to views of the Greg Norman designed, 18 hole championship golf course and the Bimbadgen winery.
Furnished with comfort in mind, you will have at hand, everything you need when away from home - all of the little things having been thought of.
And when you want to eat in, enjoy the large entertaining style kitchen with a butlers pantry. There is also a large entertaining area with a BBQ.
The estate has a pool, spa and gym. A restaurant, bar and grill is available on-site and within a short walk from the house.
Often kangaroos bounce close to the backyard - it's really beautiful to see these creatures in their natural environment whilst you could be sipping wine or entertaining beside the BBQ. The sun sets majestically at the back of the house, just perfect for when you would like to wind down.
The property is central to all that the Hunter Valley region offers. There are many boutique and commercial wineries on your doorstep and the Hunter Valley Gardens just an 8 minute drive away. Just a short walk from the house is the Bimbadgen cellar door.

TARIFFS
Weekend - minimum 2 nights for up to 6 guests $780 per night (Thursday-Sunday)
Midweek - minimum 2 nights for up to 6 guests $585 per night (Monday-Wednesday)
Extra adults are charged at $95 per person per night
Children aged 2-12 are charged at $60 per child per night
Infants under 2 are free.
Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $1000.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.
LONGER STAYS

A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

The Grey House was amazing! My family and I were in awe of the house and the interior decor, it really made the stay perfect. I would definitely re-book for our next trip down to the Hunter.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at the Grey House. The house was well presented and accommodated for every need. Bedding very comfortable, towels soft, house clean and styling simplistic and sophisticated. Very fitting for the location and the fireplace and clock and large mirrors very grand. The movie room was one of the best aspects of the house and the main reason why we choose this house being a winter stay. The house was warm and furniture comfortable just lovely. Overall we loved our stay and Stays was more than accommodating on booking details. We would highly recommend it to friends and family.
Perfect venue in every way
“The Grey House was a perfect venue for the Family of the Bride. The main bedroom suite was perfect for the bride to prepare, as was the living area for the multitude of activities that took place. The backdrop of the great Australian flora and fauna topped off stunning photo opportunities. The House was excellently equipped meeting all of our needs. Gorgeous well presented, spacious home.
Perfect for a group of 10
The property was clean, and spacious. It has a beautiful outlook onto the golf course and bushland. There was 10 of us and we all fitted in well with heaps of space for everyone.
So spacious
The house was lovely and of very high quality and very clean. The main bedroom was amazing. The kitchen was very well equipped with glasses, cutlery etc and had every possible kitchen item you could need. We had 13 people stay and the house was spacious enough and comfortable. A most comfortable and enjoyable house to stay at.
What a wonderful place to stay!
The property is lovely, plenty of room and lots of lovely little finishing touches. You could not be any more comfortable. Hunter Valley Stays were also so accommodating, organised an early check-in and were always very quick to respond to any questions or get back to us – I’d book with them again in a flash! The Grey House
Fantastic house, fantastic location, great for a weekend or even a week. Beds so comfy, bathrooms extremely clean. Nineteen cafe/bar/restaurant is within walking distance and is great! Ticks all the boxes.

We had a lovely weekend at the Grey House with our extended family. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It was well equipped and in a peaceful location right next to the golf course. There was plenty of space which made it ideal for our mixed group. The kitchen, dining and living room areas were large enough for us to be together comfortably and we also had our own privacy with separate rooms and bathrooms also. Having two entertainment areas plus the outside terrace was great and kept everyone entertained. We all really enjoyed our stay. A lovely house to stay for a special weekend away with our extended family. Hunter Valley Stays were very helpful answering any questions and made the whole booking process easy. Thanks for a great stay. We would definitely stay again.
