Sunset Ridge is one of six private cottages set on the popular Billabong Moon estate located on the Hunter’s famous Hermitage Road, Rothbury. True to its name, this light and airy pet-friendly cottage sits gently on an elevated ridge and is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down over Billabong Moon.
A romantic retreat for a couple, the cottage is incredibly spacious and features a signature corrugated iron cathedral ceiling, a gorgeous king-size four poster bed with bellowing white linen curtains. You will have everything you need to stay including a self-contained kitchen, bbq, Nespresso coffee machine, TV, air-conditioning and fan, as well as a petite fenced pet run for your four legged guest.
With renowned Hermitage Road cellar doors including Thomas Wines, Piggs Peake, Botanica and Muse Kitchen restaurants and vineyard attractions within moments, Sunset Ridge is the ideal location to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this unique setting or venture out and have all you need only moments from your doorstep. For the active at heart, take a bush walk around the estates walking tracks past the billabong and the casuarina trees or wander across the lawn to enjoy a dip in the Estate's refreshing saltwater swimming pool. You may like to hire a bike locally and take the Hermitage Road cycle track to explore the best your destination has on offer.
With the best cellar doors, restaurants and vineyard attractions within moments, the Sunset Ridge is the ideal location to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this unique setting or venture out and have all you need only moments from your doorstep.
Please note that this property IS pet friendly; we permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.

Studio - King Bed
TARIFF
Weekend - 2 night minimum up to 2 guests, $350 per night (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - 2 night minimum up to 2 guests, $299 per night (Mon-Thurs)
Infants under 2 are free.
A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $300 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.
LONGER STAYS
Please contact us for a customised quote for longer stays of 3 nights and over.
NOTES
A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.
